TORONTO, ONTARIO – Nov. 2, 2010

Timothy Christian School (TCS) is making two scholarships available to families that attend the school’s Open House and Family Fun Night on Friday, November 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Providing an excellent education in an environment that upholds Christian values and makes learning enjoyable is the mandate of TCS, an independent elementary Christian school in North Etobicoke.

“The school experience should be inspiring. I believe that when the educational process takes place in an encouraging, wholesome environment, children develop the confidence to stretch themselves. It fosters a love of learning that lasts a lifetime – and we are knitting that into the fabric of Timothy Christian School,” says Principal Marg Lise.

On the evening of November 12, while the children enjoy games, prizes, snacks and a showing of the new VeggieTales release, “It’s a Meaningful Life”, parents are encouraged to chat with staff and explore the school.

Over the years TCS has helped several families who desired private Christian education make that dream a reality. Families that attend the Open House / Fun Night may apply to receive one of the two 50% tuition scholarships that will be made available that evening only.

Mrs. Lise explains: “TCS has maintained a per-family tuition fee in order to help families enrol all their elementary children without incurring additional cost per child. So the family wins the scholarship, not just one child.”
