Legacy Project

Building A LegacyArchitect Plan

Message From The Chair

It is with great excitement that we are launching our Capital Campaign - “Building a Legacy” – which received overwhelming approval at our May 2014 Membership meeting.

Timothy Christian School has a future in West Toronto. Our children deserve modern school facilities to enable them to grow into the lives to which God has called them. Enrolment has increased three years in a row. This project will equip us for even more growth in the years to come.

Our parent community has high expectations for a private Christian education. First, Christ-centred education – weaving a biblical understanding into all the subjects we teach; secondly, high academic standard exceeding what is available in the public school system; third, the ability to uniquely help their children develop to their full potential. Undergirding these three is a school facility that supports and encourages those priorities. Our capital campaign is about facility renewal and expansion to support those goals.

The efforts required for a facility enhancement are major, cannot be undertaken lightly and require a concerted community commitment to succeed. Please join me in considering the best way you can help out. Our community is small, totalling around 750 families (including alumni and previous families). However, God has richly blessed us and I believe we have the capacity and means to raise the $2.5 million needed. “Building a Legacy” is a call to the community to equip this school for the next 50
years.

Having met with leaders who have conducted similar campaigns, we recognize that donations often come from unexpected sources. So as you use this booklet to prayerfully consider how you can participate, please also use it as a means to share and spread the news of “Building a Legacy”.

On behalf of the Board,
